Babu Chiri established the Babu Chiri Bal Kalyan Primary School in 2000 with the support of Preci Int'l Canada. The School is situated at very remote Taksindu village, Solukhumbu. Taksindu has 16 houses of Rai community and three of Sherpas, all together 19 household. About 30 students are currently studying at the school.

The Foundation has been providing teacher's salary, maintaining school building and school ground, School materials, educational materials, toilets and other necessary things. The school is running up to class three. Our aim is to extend upto seven classes in the future. We require the following budget for an academic year to run the school smoothly. This is one of the major projects of the foundation.
