Prime patron
A renowned Nepalese citizen will be the prime patron of BMCF after approval by the general assembly of Working Committee.

Patron
Any Nepalese or foreigner who has interest in the activities of the foundation could be a patron upon approval by general assembly on the recommendation of working committee. 

Membership
There are five types of Membership.

Ordinary Membership
Person who is involved and interested in the mountaineering activities and those who are interested to contribute to this foundation could be a member of the BCMF by paying the required fee as stipulated by the working committee.

Founder Membership
Those members who are holding positions at the time of registration are the founder members of BCMF. Founder members have special rights to give directions, and monitor of the activities in order to achieve its objectives.

Institutional Membership
Non-profit organization, which is established to work in the fields related to the mountaineering, mountain tourism and environment, could be an institutional member of this foundation. Member of this category will enjoy voting right but have no rights to stand in the election to hold any position.

Life Membership

• Any Nepali citizen who is considered eligible by the working committee could be a life member of BCMF upon paying NRS.25,000.
• Any foreigner who is considered eligible by the working committee could be a life member of BCMF upon paying US$.1000.00 
  Member of this category do not enjoy voting rights and have no rights to stand in the election candidate to hold any post.
  

Honorary Membership
Renowned Nepalese or foreigner personalities who have contributed or could contribute in the future in the field as mentioned by this constitution, or who would pay NRS 35000.00 to BCMF could be a honorary member of this foundation. But this member also do not have voting rights.
