The 2nd General Assembly was conducted on July 09, 2009 in Thamel-Kathmandu. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Ang Karma Sherpa-Vice President and Everest Summitter. At that time, Mr. Dorjee Jangbu Lama and Mr. Babu Sherpa-Treasurer, presented the progress report and the financial report of the foundation and the meeting has approved both reports and activities. During the meeting, the general members shared ideas and discussed on ongoing project Babu Chiri Primary School and new project on Babu Chiri Memorial Museum. The plan is to establish in Taksindu-Solukhumbu (in front of Taksindu Monastery) on the way to Everest Trek.

The General Assembly has succeeded to bring out new executive committee and advisors among the general members. Mrs. Ang Futi Sherpa has become the president of the foundation. She is the wife of late Babu Chiri Sherpa. Her daughter Yangdi Sherpa is among the committee as a secretary.

Finally, newly elected president Mrs. Ang Futi Sherpa gave vote of thanks to all the members, friends, well wishers, supporters, government, donors and also requested to all, to get continued support for achievement of successful dream carried by late Babu Chiri Sherpa.
