Objective of the BCMF will be as follows

• To avail necessary help for the welfare of the family of Babu Chiri Sherpa.
• To arrange necessary resources to realize the school project started by Babu Chiri Sherpa in his village.
• To prepare his biography, to conserve, maintain and create articles and write up, documentary etc in order to enliven his personality.
• To develop activities on mountaineering,help develop ability and efficiency of Nepalese mountaineers, to make this profession respectable as well as to run various programs for the welfare of the family of the mountaineers.
• To enhance and popularize the personality of Babu Chiri Sherpa by organizing various activities and programs other than mountaineering.

Program

To achieve the objectives as outlined in the Articles no.4 the BCMF will involve in the following programs by organizing various programs and activities.

For the welfare of the family of Babu Chiri Sherpa.

1. To collect necessary funds and assistance in order to provide higher education to the offspring of Babu Chiri Sherpa.
2. To collect and provide necessary resources to the wife and the parents of Babu Chiri Sherpa for living.
   

Regarding the school established by Babu Chiri Sherpa

1. To collect and avail funds to operate the school until it becomes independent in terms of its resources.
2. To arrange and avail necessary physical, financial and other facilities to upgrade the school and to develop it as exemplary school/high school gradually.
   

To keep enliven the personality of late Babu Chiri Sherpa

1. To establish a museum by collecting and conserving articles, photographs and Mountaineering gears used by Babu Chiri Sherpa.
2. To publish biography books, articles and writes up on Babu Chiri and to create documentaries on his life to highlight his personality.
3. To observe his birthday on the Baishakha 16 (Nepalese Calendar) every year with various activities.
   

Regarding the developments of Mountainous and Mountaineering activities and to uplift the skill and knowledge of the professional mountaineers

1. To organize various interactions, conventions, meetings and seminars etc. with various experts, mountaineers on the national and international levels on the various topics such as problems and prospects of the mountaineering trainings, environments, sanitation in close association with various organization and institutions.
2. To take initiation and to co-ordinate with Government of Nepal to enhance skills, efficiency, to create more employments, better remunerations and insurance for the Nepalese mountaineers.
3. To organize various training programs for the betterment of mountaineers’ rights and safety.
4. To organize various recreational activities, games and competition in order to create interest in mountaineering profession.
   

To popularize Babu Chiri's personality among the general people

1. To organize the facilitate to organize activities like games and competition "In The Memory of Babu Chiri "
2. To organize and facilitate activities like quiz, essay competition etc. "In The Memory of Babu Chiri "
